Are you a yarn shop owner?
Do you own a business that sells yarn or fibre? |
|
|
Oldtymestockings is pleased to offer custom knit socks to
business owners. We know
the scenario: boxes overflowing with yarn, new shipments
arriving weekly, knitted sock samples well behind schedule. Your
fingers cannot knit fast enough.
Customers wish to see the end
results of your beautifully patterned yarns and eagerly search
the aisles for sample socks. Yet, your sample socks still
cling to needles!
There simply is not enough time to knit
samples from your vast selection. We understand
your dilemma! |
|
|
Oldtymestockings antique sock machines can knit over 1000
stitches per minute. Sample socks can be knit from your
store's inventory in as little as 15 minutes.
Having knitted socks on display will
greatly augment your yarn sales and heighten customer
satisfaction. Sample socks give your customers the chance
to "see" and "feel" the finished product before leaving
the store.
With so many different styles,
designs and manufacturers of yarn, it is difficult to determine
the finished product by sight alone.
Your stress will
lessen and your yarn sales will soar. You will be able to determine the type of inventory your
customers prefer with solid precision.
The boost in yarn sales will quickly turn over
your store's inventory and allow you to carry an even
wider selection of beautiful yarns. |

Oldtymestockings socks
for business owners are available in two styles: fully ribbed or stockinette. You determine the length and size
of the socks. Socks are
sold in pairs. Socks may be matched or mismatched. A
pair may be knit from two different yarns. The choice is
yours. Pricing is as follows:
Number of
socks------------Cost for each pair
1-3 pairs-------------------------$30.00
4-6 pairs-------------------------$28.00
7-10 pairs------------------------$27.00
11 or more pairs---------------$25.00 |

|
Sufficient yarn should be enclosed
with your order. If there
is not enough yarn to complete your order, we will inform you
and make as many pairs as possible. Your order will be adjusted
accordingly.
All remaining/left over yarn will be returned to you, along with
your order.
We do not close the toes of socks
knit for businesses. This is one of the reasons why the
socks are discounted. |
|
|
|
|
The toes of each
pair of socks must be closed via the kitchener stitch or a
method that suits you.
Any standard
knitting book will illustrate how to perform the kitchener
stitch. Most novice knitters can close the toes of a pair of
socks in approximately 20 minutes or less.
