Canada makes more than 80 percent of the world's maple syrup. In 2005, Canada produced 7 million U.S. gallons! The vast majority came from the province of Quebec. Vermont is the largest U.S. supplier. In 2007, Vermont produced 450,000 U.S. gallons. |
