Home Profit Master Machine Instruction Manual
 |
The Home Profit Knitter Master Machine Instruction Book was written by the Home Profit Hosiery Co. of Rochester, New York. Hailed as "The Master Machine Of All Knitters", its chief attraction was its brass ribber dial and cylinder.
Of note, the Home Profit Master Machine was the only antique sock machine manufactured with a built in stand. Hence, the machine never required attachment to a flat surface for operation.
The Home Profit Knitter Master Machine Instruction Book consists of 35 pages of superb illustrations and clear instruction. |
The manual unfolds with a description of the machine and an accompanying diagram. Needle action, operation of the control arm and mechanical adjustments are fully outlined.
Lessons include setting up the machine, threading and the knitting of hosiery. Patterns for scarves, toques, children's sweaters and various knitwear are included.
