Legare #400 Sock Machine Instruction Manuals
 |
In 1926, the Creelman Brothers of Georgetown, Ontario Canada sold their firm to the Georgetown Knitting Machine Company Ltd. All denotations of previous ownership were removed from leaflets and brochures with utmost care.
Creelman's label and associated emblems were succeeded with Legare name plates and decals.
The Creelman Brothers' standard manual of instruction was replaced with K.R. McDonald's "Brief Guide for Hand Sock Knitting Machines". It served as the instruction manual for the remaining stock of Creelman's Family Knitting Machines.
The firm remained based in Georgetown, Ontario Canada and continued to manufacture countless sock machines for domestic and commercial use. |
The Brief Guide for Hand Sock Knitting Machines is an 18 page manual outlining the setup and operation of Georgetown's newly manufactured Family Knitting Machines.
